What makes OOA different than the other online high schools?
At OOA, we believe that if a student does everything asked of them, they should be able to reach their academic goals. We provide students with all the necessary resources and tools to be successful. Our courses are heavily video based with pen-to-paper lessons that simulate a classroom environment. The video lessons give students an opportunity to re-watch the lessons to ensure they master the concepts. If they are still struggling after a lesson, we encourage students to contact their instructor via the unit forum or the messaging platform for further assistance. Often, teachers will make additional videos to help answer any questions.
Our courses are designed with the central goal of “confidence building.” Our lessons and homework, start with introducing a concept at a basic level and build upwards as the student gains confidence in their understanding.
What is your refund policy?
There are no tuition refunds. Administration goes into the establishment of the student account; enrolling the student into the course, contracting the teacher, contacting the school, etc., which means that the tuition cannot be refunded. The decision of the Principal will be considered final in all cases involving requests for course refunds. If a student has completed less than 1 unit of the course, it is possible to transfer courses at the discretion of the Principal.
